The Czech Republic’s leading lifestyle magazine Tydenik Kvety, held an olive oil competition to find the best olive oil available in the Czech market.
Olive oil sommeliers tested the market’s leading brands.

The rules of the competition held that only samples taken from supermarket shelves, and not samples submitted by producers, could participate, so as to guarantee the real picture of what is offered to the consumer.

The winner was Terra Creta Kolymvari PDO Extra Virgin Olive Oil. The winning oil is produced in Kolymvari, a Crete region renowned for its olive production, by Terra Creta, an enterprise of local producers that has landed numerous domestic and international awards for its high quality olive oil products.
