Greece has swept the Osijek Gymnastics Grand Prix 2012 in Croatia totalling 4 medals on April 27-29. The 2010 World Champion Lefteris Kosmidis shared the gold medal in floor exercise with British athlete Daniel Purvis- both achieved the dazzling score of 15.550. Greece stalwart Vassiliki Millousi managed to secure a silver medal in on balance beam while Lefteris Petrounias was awarded the bronze medal for his performance in the rings.
Finally, Greek former world and European champion Vlasios Maras made it back to the top after winning the gold medal, edging Yann Cucherat with a score of 15.600 compared to 15.575.
Months prior to the London Olympics, the Greek team proves to be ready for topnotch performances that could lead to Olympic distinctions.
