  • Mantzavinos @ Benaki Museum
The Benaki Museum (Pireos Street Annex) is hosting, until May 13, an extensive exhibition titled For My Strength is Made Perfect in Weakness, tribute to Tassos Mantzavinos, which showcases 120 artworks, including oils, drawings and constructs. Mantzavinos's oeuvre is characteristic of his intensely expressionistic painting period to date, and comprise all his deeply experimental themes. A large collection of antique games hosted in the artist's studio - part of his artistic narrative- will also be on display.

Minor Project @ Six D.O.G.S.

Minor Project are presenting their launch LP called "In Colours" with singer/composer/ actor Marietta Fafouti in a guest appearance on April 7 at Six D.O.G.S. stage. Their typical indie, anglophone music - imbued with influences from Damien Rice and the Beatles - blends with the ethereal presence of soft voiced Marietta.

  • Ergon Ensemble @ Megaron
The Ergon Ensemble is performing live at the Athens Concert Hall, on April 5 honouring Luciano Berio. An iconic figure of contemporary classical music and a multifaceted composer, Berio worked on chamber and electronic music, radio documentaries and theatrical productions.

  • Nederlands Dans Theater 1 @ Megaron
The pioneering Nederlands Dans Theater 1 (NDT1) is staging two new works at the Athens Concert Hall on April 5 -8. Choreographed by Paul Lightfoot and Sol León, Sehnsucht ("homesickness") and Schmetterling ("butterfly") are contemporary ballet works that seek to redefine ballet choreography.

NDT1 works closely with resident choreographers and artists from other disciplines and they are famous for both their groundbreaking repertoire and artistic virtuosity.
