Marking the European Year of Active Ageing and Solidarity Βetween Generations 2012, the National Hellenic Research Foundation and the British Council are organizing a presentation titled Increasing Human Longevity: Good News or Bad? by Newcastle University professor Tom Kirkwood on March 20. The event will address the issue of an ever increasing life expectancy in Europe, seeking to present scientific explanations and possible future predictions.
