Comic aficionados, gather your gear, ComicDom Con Athens 2012 is opening its doors today and will run until April 1.
Co-organised by Comicdom Press and the Hellenic American Union, this year’s Athenian Fair pays homage to the ruthless protector of Mega City One, Judge Dredd, hence the title "2000 A.D.: The Judge Dredd Revolution."
Visitors will be given the opportunity to meet Milo Manara, whose erotic sketches rocked the world of adult comics and Mike Carey- father of Wolverine and his X- Men gang- along with Turkish comic book artist Yildiray Cinar and British comic artist Rufus Dayglo. The festival also features special screenings for kids, Cosplay, a unique competition for comic best costume -so dust your favourite ones- and eight workshops targeted at comic design.
