Santorini Donkey Republic 2010

An original exhibition called Santorini Donkey Republic 2010 takes place on the island of Santorini.

Twenty artists worked with imagination and skill to create an outdoor exhibition of donkey sculptures, which now decorate different parts of the island.

The exhibition includes sculptures in natural size made of fiberglass and protected by special anti-graffiti lacquer. At the end of the season, all the works will be auctioned off and the proceeds will be offered for the protection of aged donkeys in Karterados, attended to by the Municipality of Santorini. The "Santorini Donkeys" will be on display in the streets of the island until October.
