President Karolos Papoulias and his Bulgarian counterpart Georgi Parvanov inaugurated yesterday the new Kyprinos-Ivaylovgrad crossing on the Greek-Bulgarian border. This is the fifth crossing on the 493-km long Bulgarian-Greek border and is expected to enhance regional connections.

Papoulias underlined the importance of the new crossing for the societies on both sides of the border and the further development of Greek-Bulgarian relations in all sectors, also stressing the importance of the Burgas-Alexandroupolis pipeline.
