German Unity photo exhibition

Celebrating 20 years of German unity, a photo exhibition hosted at the Goethe Institute Athen explores everyday life in the GDR and the process towards German reunification. The exhibition is on until September 25.

The famous Polish Witkacy Theatre is giving two performances today at the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation. The even is supported by the Polish embassy in Athens

Tindersticks & Prodigy Lives

The Prodigy are finally returning to Athens at the Athens Arena for two concerts on September 16 and 17. Also, the Tindersticks are appearing at the Principal Theatre in Thessaloniki on September 18 and at the Lycabettus Theatre in Athens on September 19.

Opera singer Maria Guleghina will be appearing at the Athens Concert Hall on September 24, accompanied on piano by Massimiliano Bull, a permanent member of La Scala in Milan.

Concert in Halki

Evanthia Reboutsika -the composer who wrote the score for the film A touch of Spice- is giving a concert in the gardens of the Halki Theological School on September 18, with Turkish singers Cihan Okan and Dilek Koc participating. The concert is held under the auspices of the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople.
