An exhibition with engravings depicting Alexander the Great, opened at the archaeological site of Dion, the cultural centre of the Macedonian kings, situated at the foot of Mount Olympus. The artworks by famous French artists are a loan, courtesy of the Louvre Museum.

The event, inaugurated on July 17 by the French Ambassador in Athens, Christophe Farnaud, forms part of the 39th Olympus Festival, with France being the country of honour. The engravings are displayed at the Centre of Mediterranean Mosaic of Dion and the exhibition runs until September.
