A day conference (see photo gallery) held today, was organised  by the Secretariat General of Communication-Information.

A number of deputy ministers and general secretaries from the ministries of Economy, Competitiveness and Shipping, Environment, Energy and Climate Change, Tourism Development, and Infrastructure, Transport and Networks briefed representatives of media from the island of Crete on the government’s initiatives.

Addressing the event,  Government spokesman George Petalotis noted that Greek regional media representatives would be encouraged to travel to the EU for an exchange of information with EU institutions.
