Interested in some fun learning with your family, school or friends by way of an engaging science show, discovering different scientific disciplines and becoming scientist for a day? Then don't miss the European Researchers' Night, which celebrates its 10th anniversary across Europe this year, with events taking place simultaneously on September 25 in 280 cities throughout Europe, in both EU and non-EU countries.

Events include the presentation of leading research projects funded by Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCAs) in entertaining ways, behind-the-scene tours of science labs, interactive scientific shows and attractions, along with practical experiments and workshops.

In Greece, this year’s events - under the title "Science and technology for a better future" – will be held in eight cities – Athens, Thessaloniki, Patras, Trikala, Corinth, Pylos, Rhodes and Heraklion.

The main event will take place at the ‘Hellenic Cosmos’ Culture Center, where the public will get familiar with the world of science through presentations, experiments, interactive activities, artistic events and a photo competition organized to mark the International Year of Light 2015.

Join the celebrations and discover what researchers really do and why science matters in our daily life!
