The 21th International Short Film Festival kicks off in the city of Drama on September 14 (through Sept 19), showcasing works by Greek and international filmmakers.

This year, the Festival will have a FIPRESCI Jury (Italy, UK and Greece) selected by the International Federation of Film Critics, which celebrates its 90th anniversary.

The Jury will award the best films from the international section. The German animation Who’s paying the bill? by Daniel Nocke which takes a good look at today’s crisis, will be screened at the Opening Ceremony. At this year’s event, a total of 210 films will be screened. The festival was established in 1978 on the initiative of the Drama Film Club, and the international competition was added in 1994.
