Informatics

The 19th Panhellenic Conference on Informatics 2015 taking place in Athens (October 1-3) aims to give scientists, experts and professionals in computer science and the emerging fields of informatics the opportunity to present original research results, as well as share experience and exchange ideas.

The conference is organized by the Greek Computer Society in cooperation with the Department of Informatics of the Technological Educational Institute of Athens; the PCI 2015 proceedings will be published by the ACM (Association for Computing Machinery) Digital Library.

Creative Writing

The 2nd International Conference on Creative Writing will take place in Corfu (October 1-4), providing a unique forum for researchers, academics, authors and funding agencies from a wide spectrum to discuss problems and opportunities, find new synergies and promote initiatives for international cooperation in the field of Creative Writing.

The conference is organized by the postgraduate Programme of "Creative Writing" of the University of Macedonia, in cooperation with the Department of Archives, Library Science and Museology of the Ionian University, as well as the Regional Directorate of Primary and Secondary Education of the Ionian Islands. 

Development & Economy

"The advantages and disadvantages of Economic Crises" is the theme of the 1st International Conference of Development and Economy taking place in Kalamata (October 2-4), under the auspices of the Greek Ministry of Economy Ιnfrastructure, Shipping and Tourism, the Greek Ministry of Culture and the Economic Chamber of Greece.

The conference aims to bring together economists from different areas of economic research in order to share methods, exchange ideas, and discuss the most recent consequences of economic crises within theoretical and applied research on how countries and enterprises can face economic crises and have benefits from them, if any. 

Wine Law

The "Global Wine Market, Global Wine Law" conference, organized by the International Wine Law Association, will take place in Santorini October 2-4. The conference will focus on international law-making and enforcement in the wine sector, the legal aspects of introducing new technology & innovation, as well as global Internet aspects of domain name theft and counterfeiting in the wine sector.
