- 10th South East European Doctoral Student Conference
Following the success of the nine previous Doctoral Conferences, which attracted over 900 research papers from Europe and around the world, the 10th South East European Doctoral Student Conference will take place in Thessaloniki on September 17-18. The aim of the conference is to facilitate the exchange of knowledge between doctoral students and young researchers, and to consolidate the established network of scholars currently undertaking research in South East Europe. It has an inter-disciplinary focus and the themes and topics reflect the organisation of research by tracks of interest within the South East European Research Centre (SEERC).- 9th Int'l Symposium on e-Health Services & Technologies
The 9th International Symposium on e-Health Services and Technologies (EHST 2015) will take place in Rhodes September 17-18, covering areas that include tele-monitoring, tele-treatment, electronic medical records, service management platforms, user experience and clinical evaluation.The symposium is organized by the IICREST international institute, and cooperating organizations include the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. EHST focuses on e-Health services and their related technologies, particularly on the modeling, delivery and use of technology-driven e-Health service-provisioning systems.
- Hybrid City, 3rd International Conference
The 3rd International Hybrid City conference - a biennial event initiated in 2011 and organized by the Faculty of Communication and Media Studies of the University of Athens – will take place in the Greek capital September 17-19.
The conference includes presentations, discussions, workshops and satellite events aiming to promote dialogue and knowledge exchange among scholars, researchers, artists, designers, advocates, stakeholders and decision makers, who are actively involved in addressing questions on the nature of the technologically mediated urban activity and experience. This year’s theme is "Data to the People".
