Greece has won almost every award in the 2015 Mathematical Olympiad (SEEMOUS) that took place in Ohrid on March 3-8.

The Democritus University of Thrace, the National Technical University Of Athens, the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and the Aristotle University Of Thessaloniki have won 5 gold, 5 silver and 7 bronze medals.

The South Eastern European Mathematical Olympiad for University Students with international participation was launched in 2007 by the Mathematical Society of South Eastern Europe. The Mathematical Society of South Eastern Europe (MASSEE) was established on 1st March 2003.
