Four airline companies, members of Lufthansa group – including Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines, Swiss and Brussels Airlines - will increase their flights to Greece in order to meet growing demand.

In particular, Lufthansa has already added 4 extra flights per week from Munich to Athens and will start a new connection (Munich – Heraklion), scheduled for May 30. The German airline will also reinforce the line between Athens and Frankfurt with up to 25 flights per week during the summer.

Moreover, Austrian airlines will offer four additional night flights per week from Vienna to Athens with return flights to Athens the next morning, increasing their weekly flights to Greece from 7 to 11.

Swiss will increase flight frequency from Athens and Thessaloniki to Zurich and Geneva, and it plans to connect Heraklion, Corfu and Zante with Geneva.

Finally, Brussels Airlines passengers will be able to travel to Athens four times a week with connections to other European, African and North American destinations.
