Currently in its third edition, the
Athens Energy Forum 2015 - Energy Security and Cooperation will be held in the Greek capital on March 11-12. The Forum will address a number of important developments in the energy sector, including the
TAP project, the restructuring of the electricity market, as well as gas and oil exploration in Eastern Mediterranean.
International events have propelled energy security and the need for diversification back to the top of the EU’s foreign policy agenda. What’s more, instability in the Middle East, North Africa and Russia compounds the challenge of finding reliable sources of alternative supplies.
