  • Disabled Theatre @ Onassis Cultural Centre
The ever controversial choreographer Jérôme Bel presents his latest performance, at the Onassis Cultural Centre, on December 12 and 13. In collaboration with the HORA theatre, a company of professional actors with mental disabilities from Zurich, his work  Disabled Theatre takes a tender look at the lives of the individuals on stage. It treats disability honestly: not as something to be hidden behind the curtain of political correctness, but as a part of life with aesthetic and political extensions. Brutally revealing and profoundly political, the work has received a mix of hostility and praise wherever it has been performed.
