The company’s motto is "Good food with a story from the Mediterranean" and the concept is to bridge the gap between producers and consumers. The company’s website informs its readers that “it is an avant-garde solution for connecting the food chain, delivering goods at the consumer’s doorstep.” The five founders come from different parts of Europe.
Greek co-founder Pavlos Georgiadis is responsible for PR and communication. The founding team wants to change how consumers perceive food: "We search for excellent quality foods from small-scale producers, because we believe that these are the most inspiring stories on the market, and they deserve a voice."
