  • 14th Athens Technopolis Jazz Festival
The international Athens Technopolis Jazz Festival will be held for the 14th year, hosting jazz trends from all over the planet. Ensembles from 11 countries, Hungary, Israel, Greece, The Netherlands, Spain, Austria, Luxemburg, Portugal, Cyprus, Italy, Belgium and Turkey will play at the Technopolis, from Friday May 31 till Sunday June 2.
  • Three Great Viennese Classics @ Thessaloniki Music Hall
The International Conductor Dariusz Mikulski plays at the Thessaloniki Concert Hall, on June 4, the Concerto for Cello and Orchestra No. 1 of Joseph Haydn with Thessaloniki-born acclaimed cellist Maria Anisengos, a masterpiece of classical repertoire with bold lyrical style and remarkable artistic demands. The repertoir includes the introduction of the highly popular opera by Mozart, The Magic Flute and the 3rd Symphony of Beethoven, known as the Eroica. 

  • Imam Baildi @ Athens International Airport
The popular Greek group Imam Baildi play at the Athens International Airport on May 29. Imam Baildi fuse the music of the ‘40s, the ‘50s and the ‘60s with contemporary sounds. They mix acclaimed Greek composers Zambetas and Tsitsanis with the Californian hip hop legends Delinquent Habits, the mambo big band orchestration; they merge bouzouki with electro swing and Balkan wind instruments.

  • Stefanos Tsivopoulos. History Zero @ Museum of Cycladic Art
The Museum of Cycladic Art presents for the first time in Greece, Stefanos Tsivopoulos' History Zero. Tsivopoulos with this work represented Greece in the 55th Venice Biennale in 2013. The piece comprises of a film structured in three parts and an imagery and text archive. The film depicts the experiences of three people, with very different conceptions of the value of money; a young immigrant from Africa, a foreign artist who visits Athens and an elderly art collector who suffers from dementia. The film's narrative explores the effect that monetary exchange can have in human relations and political and social implication.
  • A Day in Hell @ Kalfayan Galleries
The Kalfayan Galleries present the solo exhibition of Dimitris Tataris, titled A Day in Hell, until June 14. With their characteristic precision and attention to detail, the works of Dimitris Tataris resemble complex mosaic images that draw their inspiration from Renaissance iconography, the Baroque, pop culture, the media, archival material and literary sources. Dimitris Tataris presents complex and technically perfect works, bizarre collages overlaid on old engravings, as well as a sculpture which will be completed when ... the portrait of the buyer is added to it!

  • Middle East Alternative Sound and Art Festival
The 4th Middle East Alternative Sound and Arts Festival (MEASAF) will be held at the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation and the Micraasia, from May 30 to June 1. The programme includes exhibitions, galas and discussions with guests from Jordan and Kuwait; it further includes the Arab Short Film Panorama with more than 30 participants of young - especially women artists from Jordan, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Algeria, Palestine, Syria, Lebanon, Tunisia and Egypt. All films will be screened in Arabic with English subtitles.
