Foreign Minister Dimitris Avramopoulos carried out an official visit to Libya yesterday, where he met with the President of the Libyan National Assembly, Dr. Mohamed Yousouf Al-Megarief, Prime Minister Ali Zeidan, and International Cooperation Minister Dr. Mohamed Enhamed Abdelaziz.
Avramopoulos also had meetings with His Eminence, Metropolitan Theophylaktos of Tripoli and representatives of the Greek community in Libya.

Deputy Foreign Minister Dimitris Kourkoulas attended the 27th Ministerial Session of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation in Istanbul, where Turkey handed over the Chairmanship of the Organization to Ukraine.
The Greek deputy minister addressed the plenary session and attended a working luncheon hosted by the organization’s outgoing chairman, Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu. Kourkoulas also visited the Ecumenical Patriarch Vartholomeos.
