Development Minister Kostis Hatzidakis visited Berlin, on Decemebr 13, where he met with German Vice Chancellor and Economy and Technology Minister Philipp Rösler.
The two ministers agreed to set up a team of experts to deal with issues related to energy, business and competitiveness, and to monitor the implementation of programmes. They also discussed the creation of a Greek investment fund, on the example of the German investment bank KfW, to support small and medium-sized businesses facing liquidity problems.
While in Berlin, Hatzidakis also held meetings with the German Chancellor’s special envoy for Greece, Deputy Labour Minister Hans Joachim Fuchtel and with representatives of the Federation of German Industries and the German Industrial and Commerce Chamber.
