What time is it? Oh, it’s …Greek time! Two unemployed Greeks got tired of ... looking at the ticking clock and decided to make some money with Clockular, an online clock and the first crowd-sourced clock in the Web.

The website clock is designed to show the local time of every user, whatever his location.

It thus allows him to purchase a moment in time and display an image linked to the buyers’ site, be it an individual or a business.

Kostas Harto and George Roumis -the creators- conceived this idea and intend to make Clockular a record breaker as the world's most valuable clock and write Web history. As Harto says, they "found out that is pointless to keep searching for a regular job in our country at this time, because of the economic crisis. So we’ve decided to try a crazy idea instead of just waiting or leave our country."

Until now, their slogan "U o’clock" guarantees that the online clock will run for at least 3 consecutive years, but their goal is to keep it up forever so "even the grandchildren of the time owners will have the opportunity to watch it." Way to go guys!!
