The fifth annual London Greek Film Festival takes place on October 8-18, at London’s Westbourne Studios. This year’s programme includes screenings of 20 short films, 15 documentaries and 9 fiction feature films by Greek, Cypriot and Greek-American filmmakers.

There is also an experimental/video art zone featuring 9 artistic videos on October 15 and a workshop on film business networking opportunities by the Festival Director, Christis Prossylis, on October 13. A photo exhibition on the subject of the Olympic Flame, with 18 rare photos from the ERT (Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation) archives, will run parallel to the festival.

The Odysseus Awards ceremony will take place on the last day, where 16 awards will be given in various categories. Two parties will be thrown: one celebrating the five year anniversary of the festival, with Greek music and dance, on October 14, and an after-event party on October 18.
