Deputy Foreign Minister Dimitris Kourkoulas visited Israel on October 9-10, where he had the opportunity to discuss issues of bilateral interest, within the framework of the ongoing strengthening of relations between the two countries.
Kourkoulas met with his Israeli counterpart Daniel Ayalon, with talks focusing on EU-Israeli relations, developments in the Middle East -particularly in Syria- and bilateral economic relations.
The critical situation prevailing in Syria and developments in the wider region were the subject of Kourkoulas’s talks with the Head of Israel’s National Security Council, Yaakov Amidror.
