The 8th London Greek Film Festival will open its doors on October 19, running until October 25, featuring the work of Greek filmmakers from around the world, as well as by non- Greeks whose work bears Greek interest. 
Independent, alternative, progressive and creative, the Festival as always remains true to its objective, which is to act as an international meeting point for contemporary Greek Film across the world. 

With screenings of feature films, shorts, documentaries, experimental films and video art, this year’s edition will present more than 55 selections, as well as a choice of 11 short and feature film scripts online. 

Festival events include workshops and awards ceremonies for best films by category, best actors, screenwriters, filmmakers and performers, as well as a ‘Viewers’ Award’.
