  • Yiannis Gaitis exhibition @ Athens
An exhibition titled "Yiannis Gaitis, an uncompromising dandy" is running at the Radisson Blu Park Hotel in Athens until July 24.

Embarking from abstract painting, Gaitis gradually shaped his own unique style. Since the 60s, his most distinctive feature, his identical little men (anthropakia) - symbols of the middle class propriety and alienation - will dominate his work, often as wooden constructions, utilitarian applications or artistic happenings, and will make him internally known.
