The 2015 Athens Photo Festival (APhF: 2015) is the longest-running international festival of photography in Greece, and one of the five oldest of its kind in the world. This year’s theme, under the title "Reframe Memory," explores the relationship between past and present, both experimental and mainstream, bringing together a wide range of international artistic positions.

The main exhibitions take place from June 3 through July 26, featuring emerging and established artists from all over the world. At the core of the programme is a range of special events, including portfolio reviews, talk series, screenings, workshops, performances and participatory projects. In addition to the main venue based programme, the festival encourages community involvement through the satellite exhibitions across the city. Athens Photo Festival is organised by the Hellenic Centre for Photography.

Finally, the Athens Photo Festival’s Portfolio Reviews offer an opportunity for emerging artists and photographers to meet with international experts and receive advice. The reviewers will award the "Best Portfolio" and the winner will have the chance to exhibit at the Athens Photo Festival 2016 edition.
