A technology startup, Workable, was founded in Athens, in 2012, by two experienced executives of Upstream, Nikos Moraitakis and Spiros Magiatis, who saw a gap in the international market, concerning software that would manage online recruitment. Workable has been very successful so far, especially abroad, given that it sells its product mainly in the international market.

The company now has over 1,500 clients and has multiplied its turnover tenfold in one year alone, "which is a growth rate of 20% per month," the CEO Nikos Moraitakis noted at the To Vima daily [in Greek].

Workable's product is ground-braking as it allows a small business to organize its recruiting process online, with only a low-cost subscription.
