- Golden Dawn Watch
An initiative called Golden Dawn Watch has been set up to provide daily coverage and analysis of the trial. It is organised by the Hellenic League for Human Rights, the Greek Observatory against Fascism and Racist Speech in the Media, which works as part of the Journalists’ Union
of Athens Daily Newspapers, the Antifascist League of Athens and Piraeus, and the City of Athens Migrants’ Integration Council. The
initiative is modeled on NSU Watch,
a similar initiative in Munich covering the trial of a neo-Nazi cell that
murdered ten people
in 2011.- Open
Discussion
Another organisation called Analyze Greece is holding an open discussion on May 6 in Athens with the participation of foreign correspondents, political activists and legal experts. This international event focuses on the Golden Dawn trial, highlights the dynamics of reactionary, xenophobic and neo-fascist movements across Europe amidst the unprecedented financial and political crisis, and raises the question: "Why does it matter to Greece and Beyond?"- Book
