Minister Panos Kammenos stated at the EU Defence Ministers Meeting in Brussels yesterday (18 May).
Kammenos noted that the challenges for Common Security and Defence Policy (CSDP) are Jihadist terrorism threat in the EU, human trafficking from regions of North Africa and the Middle East and the exploitation of real

Kammenos also referred Greece’s participation to CSDP operations at the Horn of Africa, "where we successfully assumed action against piracy." He added that "even though a relative stability and security in the area has been established, we believe that we should preserve our presence there."
