MikroBiokosmos, Greece’s scientific society for the exploration and commercial exploitation of the country’s microbial resources will hold from April 3 to 5 its sixth annual conference, focusing on the study and development of microorganisms in a wide range of fields starting from agriculture, energy and food to biotechnology and bioinformatics.

The society’s mission is to create a National Network of Microbial Diversity, Genomics, and Biotechnology, as well as to serve the interdisciplinary study of the microbial world in unique environments across the country, through the National Center for BioProspecting. The Conference will be held at the National Hellenic Research Foundation.
