Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras met last night with German Chancellor Angela Merkel, European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker, European Central Bank President Mario Draghi, French President Francois Hollande and Eurogroup President Jeroen Dijesslbloem in Brussels, on the sidelines of the EU Council Summit (19-20.03). At the informal meeting, chaired by Council President Donald Tusk, it was agreed that Greece will send a full list of specific reforms to be implemented in the coming months in order for the next EU tranche to be released.

The EU institutions issued a short statement after their meeting, noting their adherence to the Eurogroup agreement of February 20, and their commitment to speed up and conclude the work as quickly as possible. Within the framework of the Eurogroup agreement of 20 February 2015, the Greek authorities will have the ownership of the reforms and will present a full list of specific reforms in the next days.

Speaking to reporters after the meeting, the Greek PM said that talks are now back on track and he was more optimistic that all sides will be able to complete a deal. "There was confirmation of the will of all sides to work so as to restore the financing ability of the Greek economy as soon as possible," he noted.
