A film festival on the Greek Resistance during World War II is running at the Alkyonis New Star Art and Studio cinemas on February 19-25.

Marking the anniversaries since the founding of the United Panhellenic Organization of Youth (EPON) and the Greek People's Liberation Army (ELAS), the festival features films and documentaries on the Greek resistance, among which Birds in the Mire (Poulia sto Valto) by Alinda Dimitriou, the Greek civil war by Roviros Manthoulis, Kalavryta – People and Shadows by Elias Giannakakis (2014), and There Was No Other Way by Stavros Psyllakis (2009).
