The renovated Parnassos Ski Center, will open its doors to ski lovers on December 20. The new look includes ultramodern lifts, part of an investment project of €17 million; for the first time, a brand-new combination lift (combi-lift) will connect the Kellaria site with the Vakhos slope. This is one of the four most modern type combi-lifts in the world and has the potential to safely elevate skiers from 1,750m to 2,250m altitude in less than 10 minutes.
The second phase of the renovation project, which is already in progress, will include modernisation works at the Fterolaka site and the installation of a wind farm, so that the ski center will achieve energy autonomy. The project’s second phase is expected to be completed within 2015.
