The 2nd edition of
The Little Paris of Athens (Petit Paris d' Athènes) Festival will be hosted by the Athens Art Network in collaboration with the
City of Athens, in the heart of Athens, from October 9 to 19.
Dedicated to Albert Camus in 2013, celebrating 100 years since his birth, the festival is now returning to celebrate the birth and decline of the
Belle Époque in the streets near Omonoia, Karaiskakis and Vathis squares and all the way down to Larissis Railway Station, a.k.a as the
Little Paris, as many of the streets bear French names (Marnis, Favierou, Maizonos, V. Hugo, Satovriandou, Veranzerou).
More than 500 artists and 50 volunteers will participate in a
wide range of cultural events including plays, musical performances, street theatre, exhibitions and series of lectures on the Belle Époque.
