The Montpellier Mediterranean Film Festival (36th CineMed 2014) will take place from October 25 to November 4. Forty two Greek movies (including short films, animation and fiction) will be screened during the festival’s competitive and non competitive sections. Introducing Nikos Triantafyllidis, the Festival will screen his first noir film The Sentimentalists and Yorgos Servetas’ film Standing aside, watching.

In the competitive section for short films, we will see Nikoleta Leousi with The Generator and the 2013 Drama Short Film Festival award winning short films Red Hulk (Asimina Proedrou) and Drag Me: An Urban Music Tale (Nikos Kellis). In a special tribute to the Greek cinema of the years 2007-2013 (New Wave Greek Cinema), 14 films, including the Unfair World, Strella and Xenia will also be screened.
