A world conference on the prospects of thermalism and spa tourism will be hosted in Greece (Edipsos, October 9-11). The three-day conference focuses on the possibilities of thermal therapies in different parts of Europe, within the framework of the European Health Act.

The conference aims to highlight the economic prospects, history and culture of thermalism, the great stock of spas, as well as the infrastructure of the Greek spa tourism industry.

The event is organised by the Association of Greek Thermalism Businesses, the Thermalism World Organisation and the International Society of Medical Hydrology and Climatology. It will be inaugurated by Greek Tourism Minister Olga Kefalogianni.
