Zbigniew Preisner presents his latest work "The Diaries of Hope" at the Herod Atticus theatre in Athens on September 18.
The work is inspired by diaries and poems of Polish children, Holocaust victims and features "Dead Can Dance" lead vocalist Lisa Gerrard in the main vocal role, accompanied by the Greek Symphonic Orchestra and the National Television choir.

- Reworks in Thessaloniki
Reworks, the music and contemporary art festival, celebrates its 10th edition in Thessaloniki with the latest on electronic, avantguarde and experimental music.
Electronic music stars Max Richter, Jessie Ware, Fritz Kalkbrenner, Ben Clock, Nina Kraviz and many other are included in the lineup. From September 17 to 21, the festival will take place in several venues around Thessaloniki.

The Greek National Opera marks the 37th anniversary since Maria Callas’ death with a grand opera gala honouring the great opera diva.
The concert, which will take place at the Odeon of Herodes Atticus on September 21, features internationally acclaimed vocalists Aris Argiris, Fiorenza Cedolins, Dimitra Theodossiou, Nicola Ulivieri, Andrés Veramendi and Elena Xanthoudakis.

International ballet stars pay tribute to living legend Maya Plisetskaya on the occasion of her 89th birthday. "Ave Maya" features some Dancers from some of the world’s top ballet companies such as the Mariinsky Ballet, the Royal Ballet, the Bolshoi Ballet, the Paris Opera Ballet and the Ballet Nacional de Espana and will take place at the Herod Atticus Theater on September 23.
