- A journey into the world of Sufism @ Benaki Museum
The exhibition Chronis Pechlivanidis: A journey into the world of Sufism will be held at the Benaki Museum until July 27. The exhibition presents the world of Islamic spirituality, its history and basic concepts. It has three sections: The first part is a presentation of works of art from the Islamic collections of the Benaki Museum that relate to Sufism. The second is dedicated to monuments located in different regions of Greece and constitute evidence of Sufi brotherhoods in the area. The third part is a visual journey, created by filmmaker Chronis Pechlivanides, through video presentations of ritual ceremonies from different locations.

- Outview Film Festival @ Greek Film Archive
The 8th edition of the Outview Film Festival will be running at the Greek Film Archive, until May 25. This year’s festival features over 70 films, with master classes, workshops, events and many prizes. Guest directors and young artists, will be presented for the first time, through partnerships with embassies and institutes. The festival’s main goal, is to show, that, even during the crisis, Athens remains, a progressive city.
- French Theatre à la Grecque @ Michael Cacoyannis Foundation
The Contemporary Theatre Festival French Theatre à la Grecque, co-organised by the the French Institute of Greece and the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation (MCF) will be running until June 3 at the specially adapted underground hall of the MCF. Contemporary French dramaturgy meets Greek translators, directors and performers; it uses often provocative and extreme, yet poetic methods to showcase its open and colourful themes, set in a continuously evolving world.
