The 1st Athens Science Festival will be held in Technopolis, to May 4. The festival, which seeks to inspire and create new standards in the science arena, will present the research work carried out in Greece and highlight the role of science in daily life. The remarkably rich and interesting programme includes discussions on controversial scientific subjects, live experiments, children’s labs, workshops, and many more.

The science festival is organised by the educational organisation Science Communication – SciCo and the British Council, in collaboration with the Onassis Scholars’ Association, the Ministry of Education, Panteion University, the National Observatory of Athens and many other educational and research institutes.
