  • Ex Thessalonica Lux @ Museum of Byzantine Culture

The exhibition Ex Thessalonica Lux, held at the Museum of Byzantine Culture in Thessaloniki, will be extended until May 4. Honouring Thessaloniki as the birthplace of Saints Cyril and Methodius, this original exhibition highlights the definitive contribution of the Thessalonian brothers, regarding the invention of the Slavonic script, the establishment of the Cyrillic alphabet and the subsequent spread of Christianity in Central Europe and beyond.

A dialogue between the renowned Greek painter Constantine Palian and the internationally prominent Serbian sculptor Giorgie Cpajak, entitled Synekthesis (co-exhibition) will be inaugurated tonight, at the Myro Gallery, in Thessaloniki. Giorgie Cpajak an internationally award-winning sculptor participates with sculptures produced during the summer symposium of Greek Marble Initiative. Cypriot painter Konstantinos Palian, participates with new projects, oil paintings which feature uniquely the Greek light.

  • Borderline Festival '14 @ Onassis Cultural Centre
For the fourth consecutive year, the Borderline Festival will be hosting the most fascinating new proposals in music, banishing borderlines and lines of demarcation and brings some of the most interesting names of the international scene at the Onassis Cultural Centre, from April 4 to 9. The Festival keeps performance and improvisation at its core; it will once again feature inspired and innovative programmes by artists from every corner of the earth and host actions which include dance, installations, listening sessions and lectures.
