  • Youth Theatre Festival 2014
For the fourth year, the Youth Theatre Festival hands over the stage to the achievements of the upcoming generation. Young people write, act and watch theatre worked out of their dreams and their fears. This year’s festival, entitled Teenage citizens of the world, pairs experienced teachers, directors and authors with participants drawn from secondary schools, municipal theatre groups and vulnerable social groups. Together, they collaborate in writing and staging original works. The festival takes place at the Onassis Cultural Centre, on April 11-13.

  • No Respect: Graffiti and Street Art
The in-house exhibition No Respect, which documents Greek graffiti and street art scene as it manifests itself on the streets of Athens and other cities around Greece today, will be inaugurated today (11.04) at the Onassis Cultural Centre.

Each of the forty works on display was created in situ by a different artist, some of the many who responded to the OCC’s open invitation to exhibit. The works cover the walls, columns and floor of the exhibition space as well as cars placed within it. A making-of video will be screened in the exhibition space. The exhibition will be accompanied by a catalogue with photographic material and information about the artists.
