The exhibition features two series of photographs dating from the beginning of the 20th century (1908-1913), encapsulating the moment when the concept of the snapshot was born and capturing the contrast between today's professional techniques and the individual viewpoints of the era's amateur photographers.
The first series of photos reflects the classic genre of travel photography, while the second series immerses the viewer into "the mythological world of the Aegean Islands, as a counterpoint to classical antiquity and the Hellenic culture of Magna Graecia." The exhibition will be open to the public until May 30.
