The German institute Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin and the Nanotechnology Lab LTFN of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki will collaborate on a research project using graphene as a transparent electrode to produce of advanced organic electronic devices, such as organic solar cells and organic transistors.

The research is carried out under the "GRElect" program financed by the “Bilateral Cooperation Greece-Germany in Research and Technology 2013-2015” of the General Secretariat for Research and Technology (GSRT).
