Three friends from Thessaloniki – Dimitris, Ilias and Kostas – have launched the Bikeit company, providing the city’s residents with traditional two-wheel bikes and innovative four-wheel bikes for joy rides across the new seafront of the town.

The idea to start the company came to them during a summer vacation camping trip. They have been using the bike for their own transportation in the city and realized that a company that offers this type of bike as a rental would be ideal for their town and especially for the new seafront area. After developing their business plan, the three men started searching for a partner who could implement their idea. They ended up collaborating with Makedonia Palace hotel, which provided them with a special area to host their business.

The new company has turned out to be very popular among the residents, who are using the bikes to ride along the seafront, enjoying the sun and the warm weather of Thessaloniki.
