Greece's business climate has significantly improved, Eurogroup president Jeroen Dijsselbloem said on Monday (17.02). Speaking at a seminar held by the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) on the Euro Area at a crossroads: Policies for growth, jobs and competitiveness, Dijsselbloem stated that "there was increased competition, which ultimately led to a huge increase in the tourism sector." Dijsselbloem further expressed concern over the strengthening of the extreme right at the European North and South and referred to the austerity fatigue in some south European countries. Finally he stressed the need for boosting structural reforms in countries under bailout programmes, adding that reforms should also be a priority for the rest of the Euro area countries.
