We often write about the opening of new Athens Metro stations, and the archeological artifacts discovered under them and displayed. However there are also contemporary works of art, by reputable Greek artists, which embellish both existing stations and the new station currently under construction in both Athens and Thessaloniki.

Three new works of art are exhibited in the framework of this Art Program at Halandri Station (by Rena Papaspyrou), Agios Dimitrios Station (Kostas Iraklis Georgiou) and Monastiraki Station (Lida Papakonstantinou).
