Mikra Anglia, a film by the acclaimed Greek director Pantelis Voulgaris has sold more than 300,000 tickets after five weeks in theaters throughout Greece, as announced by its distribution company Feelgood Entertainment. The film was released on December 5, nationwide in over 100 theaters, with box offices showing great results from the start and there has been almost no decline in ticket sales.
Mikra Anglia, a romantic drama, based on Ioanna Karystiani’s novel of the same name (English title: The Jasmine Isle), Set on the spectacular Cycladic island of Andros, the film recounts the story of the beautiful Orsa Saltaferos, sentenced to marry a man she doesn't love and to watch, while the man she does love weds her sister.
