Energean Oil, the operator of Prinos,
Thassos oilfields, and BP Oil International signed a $ 500 million contract, signaling the reactivation of BP in Greece. The contract was signed at the premises of the energy ministry, in the presence of Energy Minister Yiannis Maniatis, UK’s ambassador to Athens John Kittmer. According to the contract, Energean Oil will sell all of its oil production to BP Oil International.
